Dr Shan has worked in radiotherapy for twenty-four years, concentrating on precision radiotherapy for all tumour types, and in particular the combined treatment of neuro-oncological and head and neck tumours. He has completed more than five thousand radiosurgical cases, including brain metastases and pituitary tumours.
His clinical strengths are complex and refractory brain metastases, the integrated management of leptomeningeal metastasis, pituitary tumours, bone metastases and head and neck cancer. He sits on the multidisciplinary panel for brain metastases and leptomeningeal disease, was named a “Yangcheng Good Doctor”, and has published more than fifty papers in core Chinese and international journals, more than ten of them as first or corresponding author.
