Dr Zhou graduated in clinical medicine from Luzhou Medical College in 1988 and began his career in neurosurgery at the affiliated hospital of Luzhou Medical College. In 1998 he moved into stereotactic precision radiosurgery for malignant head tumours, and has since treated more than 10,000 patients with benign and malignant brain tumours and advanced body tumours.
He is expert in curative-intent precision treatment of benign intracranial tumours and palliative precision radiotherapy for advanced body disease, with particular mastery of the latest CyberKnife stereotactic platform. He has published nearly twenty professional papers.
