Professional Profile

Professor Qian was a visiting scholar at the Mayo Clinic in Minnesota and at San Francisco State University. He has wide experience in microneurosurgery for all types of neuro-oncological disease, interventional treatment of cerebrovascular disease, stereotactic technique, keyhole neuroendoscopy, the integrated rescue of critical traumatic brain injury, and functional neurosurgical restoration for paralysed patients.

His longer-term research interest is the basic science of nerve injury and repair, and he has a particular reputation in modern neural stem cell-based functional repair.
